Key Result Areas (KRAs):
1 Develop project schedules and transition plans to manage product introduction through Detailed Design, into Contract Manufacturing Ramp Start and Integration Center Production Ramp start, through 90 days post Ramp
2 Develop and implement a methodology for Aristocrat NPI management, and implementation of new programs into the Global Supply Chain.
3 Management of overall transition schedule, understanding of Demand and Supply Requirements, Drive schedule milestones, work cross functionally with Engineering, Sourcing, Demand and Supply Planning, Quality and Integration Centers to launch projects on time, on cost targets and meeting quality specifications.
4 Minimise injuries and environmental incidents within area of operation.
5 For each assigned project, project manage Engineering and NPI activities:
a Follow the Aristocrat Product Development Process guideline, ensuring timely introduction of new product into the Global Supply Chain.
b Create, maintain and manage all project requirements (project schedules, budgets, risks, plans etc...) and report on variances.
c Identify and provide leadership to all project resources.
d Provide monthly reporting for assigned projects.
e Delegate tasks as required, both internal and external appropriate to their role, ensuring that all aspects of development, regulatory approvals, testing, submissions and supply chain operations are addressed.
f Ensure all ECOs are co:ordinated and processed.
g Verify that samples comply with Engineering specification and ensure that variances are addressed.
h Verify that first run production samples from existing or new suppliers comply with Engineering specification and ensure that variances are addressed.
6 For each assigned project:
a Lead and manage product conceptual reviews and product design reviews ensuring that Design for Manufacture and Assembly principles are applied and adhered to and that selected suppliers will be able to supply products and components at optimal cost, quality and lead time.
b Ensure all stakeholders are communicated to clearly and involved as required.
c Apply own relevant skills and knowledge to the project. However, never take on tasks that can be done by dedicated functional departments within Aristocrat.
7 Assist and be an integral member of the NPI/Engineering team to develop and improve NPI/Engineering Project Management processes.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Project Management with demonstrable ability to co:ordinate multiple projects across departments and divisions
Knowledge of Product Development and Engineering Change Processes
Knowledge of manufacturing, contract manufacturing, DFM, DFX, and Q
